HABILITATION PROGRAM

Social and Vocational Activities

The Habilitation Services Program is designed to provide educational, social/leisure and vocational activities to individuals with severe/profound disabilities requiring a high level of support. Habilitation services are offered to individuals ages 17 to 21 who are referred by the Appleton Area School District.

The target population of the Habilitation Services Program is individuals who have challenging needs, which preclude their participation in existing programs offered by Valley Packaging Industries of Northeast Wisconsin. These individuals require intense supervision due to the severity of their disabilities. Individuals referred must demonstrate vocational potential to progress to a less structured program.
