Production Worker:

Location: 2730 N. Roemer Road, Appleton OR 110 N. Kensington Drive, Appleton

First shift: Monday-Friday 7:45 p.m. to 4:15 a.m.

Second shift: Monday-Friday 4:15 p.m. to 12:45 a.m.

Job duties include: Count appropriate quantity of product and package into boxes, bags, and/or displays on conveyor. Assemble corrugated displays as directed, shrink wrap finished displays and/or pack into cases, stack pallets, etc.

Must be able to: Stand for the entire shift, lift 15-30 pounds on a semi-regular basis, count accurately, be flexible in job assignment, be comfortable working alongside individuals with disabilities, and be available for overtime as needed.

Starting wage: $8.00/hour

 

Maintenance Technician II:

Location: 2730 N. Roemer Road, Appleton

First shift

Job duties include: Troubleshoots and determines appropriate actions for repair. Performs preventative maintenance. Maintains equipment in a state of readiness by safely utilizing hand tools, power tools, measuring and testing equipment. Set-up machines according to equipment and job specifications. Makes adjustments to the equipment when necessary to maintain the quality of finished product. Performs all required duties and communicates to Maintenance Manager. Adheres to all housekeeping and safety procedures.

Must be able to: Stand for the entire shift, lift 30-50 pounds on a semi-regular basis, count accurately, be flexible in job assignment, be comfortable working alongside individuals with disabilities, and be available for overtime as needed. Interpret blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings as well as troubleshoot pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications: Associates degree or minimum of 1 or 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or related technical training. Strong experience in electrical and mechanical areas. Demonstrated knowledge in equipment set-up operations.

Starting wage: $17.00-$23.00/hour based upon experience

 

Production Coordinator:

Location: 110 N. Kensington Drive, Appleton

First shift

Job duties include: The Production Coordinator assists the Plant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the production department, ensuring production schedules are attained and daily/monthly financial expectations met.  Provides supervision and training to supervisors and line leaders making sure that the production lines run efficiently and customer quality expectations are met. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in a production environment. Course work or experience working with handicapped individuals preferred. Demonstrated common sense, judgment, and communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Tri-County Recycling Facility Material Sorter:

Location: Tri-County Recycling Facility: 1419 Holland Road, Appleton

First shift: Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Saturdays as needed)

Daytime Part-Time Shifts: 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. OR 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Second shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (Saturdays as needed)

Evening/Night Part-Time Shifts: 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. OR 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. 

Job duties include: Sort recyclable materials such as cardboard, newspaper, mix paper, metal cans and plastics from conveyor belts and remove non-recyclable material. General labor duties, such as, but not limited to: sorting, sweeping, litter removal, cleaning, and traffic control.

Must be able to: Stand for an entire shift and achieve desired picks per minute rates. Must be reliable, demonstrate positive work habits and attitudes, and possess the ability to follow verbal instructions. Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards is required. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, work as part of a team (your performance directly affects others), be available on Saturdays as needed, be flexible in job assignments, lift 15-30 pounds on a semi-regular basis and maintain an excellent attendance record.

Starting wage: $9.00/hour with 3-month performance review based on performance and attendance.

 

Community Living Specialist:

Location: ADRC Office: 401 S. Elm St, Appleton

First shift

Job duties include: Responsible for responding to requests from a variety of sources for information and assistance on behalf of individuals residing in nursing homes.  The information provided will inform those who are elderly and/or disabled or their caregivers about options available to support them in the community as an alternative to nursing home care.  Assist those who are interested by helping to remove obstacles to successful relocations.  Provide short term case management to those who have financial resources but lack the supports necessary to coordinate supports.  Perform eligibility screens for those seeking public funding and make appropriate referrals for financial eligibility determination and enrollment choices for those who are eligible. Develop marketing strategies and do outreach presentations about the possibility and the feasibility of people residing in the community with adequate supports and seek referrals to the ADRC.  Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.  Extensive knowledge of the long term care needs of elders and people with disabilities. Extensive knowledge of home and community-based services. Experience with relocation, transition, and/or discharge planning is preferred. Understanding of and commitment to the principles of person-centered planning, consumer choice and self-direction. Ability to obtain long term care functional screener certification within three months of hire. Considerable knowledge of Wisconsin’s human service and long term care programs, especially Family Care and IRIS. The ability to provide non-biased enrollment counseling to those interested in publicly funded services. Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, ability to write and speak concisely to partners and agencies, both public and private, from diverse populations. Demonstrated ability to provide training and technical assistance. Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with a broad range of entities, build consensus, and manage opposing interests and opinions. Considerable ability to collaborate and work as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to work independently, plan, organize and proactively produce quality deliverables in response to multiple assignments, willingness and ability to adapt to change. The position requires a personal vehicle and an ability to drive and travel in order to make regular visits to nursing homes in assigned geographic region and to statewide/regional meetings.  Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain adequate auto insurance for job-related travel within Wisconsin.

Community Employment Specialist:

Location: 2730 N. Roemer Road (Calumet County caseloads), Appleton

First shift

Job duties include: Responsible for providing community employment for individuals with disabilities or other barriers. Provides vocational guidance, job matching, and representation of participant to potential employers, and follow-up services. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:  Experience in job placement of individuals with disabilities required. Bachelor Degree in vocational rehabilitation, counseling or related field or equivalent preferred.  Minimum of one year of evaluation or counseling experience preferred.  Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Accounting Manager:

Location: 110 N. Kensington Drive, Appleton

First shift

Job duties include: The Accounting Manager Assists the Chief Financial Officer with the preparation of accurate financial statements.  Prepares bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and creation of journal entries.  Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Strong data entry skills. Experience or training in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and utilizing various other Microsoft applications such as Word and Outlook.  Experience with Microsoft NAV preferred. One to two years of experience in financial accounting and auditing, particularly in non-profit organizations. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Starting wage: $40,000-45,000/salary based upon experience
