Production Worker:

Location: 2730 N. Roemer Road

First Shift: Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Second Shift: Monday-Friday 4:15 p.m. to 12:45 a.m.

Job Duties Include: Count appropriate quantity of product and package into boxes, bags, and/or displays on conveyor belts. Assemble corrugated displays as directed, shrink wrap finished displays and/or pack into cases, stack pallets, etc.

Must Be Able To: Stand for the entire shift, lift 15-30 pounds on a semi-regular basis, count accurately, be flexible in job assignment, be comfortable working alongside individuals with disabilities, and be available for overtime as needed.

Starting Wage: $8.00/hour

 

Tri-County Recycling Facility Material Sorter:

Location: 1419 Holland Road, Tri-County Recycling Facility

First shift: Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Saturdays as needed)

Daytime Part-Time Shifts: 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. OR 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Second shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (Saturdays as needed)

Evening/Night Part-Time Shifts: 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. OR 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. 

Job duties include: Sort recyclable materials such as cardboard, newspaper, mix paper, metal cans and plastics from conveyor belts and remove non-recyclable material. General labor duties, such as, but not limited to: sorting, sweeping, litter removal, cleaning, and traffic control.

Must be able to: Stand for an entire shift and achieve desired picks per minute rates. Must be reliable, demonstrate positive work habits and attitudes, and possess the ability to follow verbal instructions. Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards is required. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, work as part of a team (your performance directly affects others), be available on Saturdays as needed, be flexible in job assignments, lift 15-30 pounds on a semi-regular basis and maintain an excellent attendance record.

Starting wage: $9.00/hour with 3-month performance review based on performance and attendance.

 

Maintenance Technician II:

Location: 2730 N. Roemer Road

First Shift: Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Job Duties Include: Troubleshoots and determines appropriate actions for repair. Performs preventative maintenance. Maintains equipment in a state of readiness by safely utilizing hand tools, power tools, measuring and testing equipment. Set-up machines according to equipment and job specifications. Makes adjustments to the equipment when necessary to maintain the quality of finished product. Performs all required duties and communicates to Maintenance Manager. Adheres to all housekeeping and safety procedures.

Must Be Able To: Stand for the entire shift, lift 30-50 pounds on a semi-regular basis, count accurately, be flexible in job assignment, be comfortable working alongside individuals with disabilities, and be available for overtime as needed. Interpret blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings as well as troubleshoot pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications: Associates degree or minimum of 1 or 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or related technical training.Strong experience in electrical and mechanical areas. Demonstrated knowledge in equipment set-up operations.

Starting Wage: $17.00-$23.00/hour based upon experience

 

Program Assistant:

Location: 3375 W. Brewster Street

First shift

Job duties include: Provide active and direct care to individuals with disabilities. Assist in providing a supportive and safe environment, as well as joining individuals as they experience community outings and social and leisure activities. Assist in making behavioral observations and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans and report their progress. Initiate communication with Case Managers and maintain accurate records of performance. Provide life skills, personal care and quality interaction with individuals. Perform break, lunch, and bus duty, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Course work in human services or related field with an emphasis on Mental Illness preferred. Minimum one (1) year experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Starting wage: $10.00/hour

 

Community Employment Specialist:

 Location: 2730 N. Roemer Road (Outagamie County or Calumet County caseloads), Appleton

First shift

Job duties include: Responsible for providing community employment for individuals with disabilities or other barriers. Provides vocational guidance, job matching, and representation of participant to potential employers, and follow-up services. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:  Experience in job placement of individuals with disabilities required. Bachelor Degree in vocational rehabilitation, counseling or related field or equivalent preferred.  Minimum of one year of evaluation or counseling experience preferred.  Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Job Coach:

 Location: Community Worksites

Shift: Varies and may include evening and weekend hours

Job duties include: Provides vocational and programmatic support to individuals both in-house and on community-based work sites.  Assists the Case Manager in implementing and documenting individual rehabilitation plans.  Communicates relevant issues and progress to the Case Manager. 

Qualifications: Coursework in human services, plus one year experience working with developmentally disabled or special needs individuals preferred.  Knowledge of behavior management desirable.  Must be able to work in a variety of employment situations.

Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist:

Location: EIP Program

First shift

Job duties include: This position will provide quality speech/language therapy services through education and coaching to families and colleagues in order to maximize the functional independence of children birth to three years within their family’s daily routines and activities.  The therapist will be a member of a trans-disciplinary Early Intervention Team supporting infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families in the child’s natural environment.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology. One year supervised experience working with families of children with special needs and knowledge of Birth to Three children and Part C regulations. Previous experience as SLP preferred. Licensure from the State of Wisconsin and demonstrated common sense, judgment, and communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

ADRC Assistant:

Location: ADRC Office: 401 S. Elm St, Appleton

First shift

Job duties include: Assist ADRC (Aging & Disability Resource Center) staff and Economic Support divisions in their work with consumers who are applying for public assistance and need assistance with preparing financial, medical and other documents related to applications for entitlements and other programs, to ensure that documents are in place and deadlines for applications are met.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.  Experience working with various publicly funded programs preferred.  Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn computer programs.  Bi-lingual in Hmong or Spanish preferred.  Must possess problem solving skills, the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of individuals, able to work independently and efficiently.

Starting wage: $12.00-$16.00/hour based upon experience
